But the rewards made it worth it in the end.

Reflecting on the last 3 Januarys since I have become a nomad. From Guatemala to Peru to Hong Kong, it has been an adventure filled with joy and challenges and awe and overwhelm and I wouldn’t change a single experience.
Lately, life in Hong Kong means exploring local neighborhoods and falling in love with the not so pretty spots.

Recently, life in Hong Kong has been a lot of normal life. I got really sick, I got overwhelmed and I’m not always loving my job. But I also took a few ferries and a cable car, saw some giant buddhas and met a monk. So normal life with a lovely twist or two.
Life in Hong Kong means learning to go with the flow but also the joy discovering there are so many free things to do. Festivals and beach days and monasteries and teaching struggles are all part of my new life here in Hong Kong.
Today marks 25 days in Hong Kong and I guess I live here now. Life in Hong Kong has been a roller coaster but I am loving it. I’m here teaching at a learning...
