Reflecting on the last 3 Januarys since I have become a nomad. From Guatemala to Peru to Hong Kong, it has been an adventure filled with joy and challenges and awe and overwhelm and I wouldn’t change a single experience.
Lately, life in Hong Kong means exploring local neighborhoods and falling in love with the not so pretty spots.
Living in Hong Kong – my third flat in 3 months, a couple of my favorite unplanned day trips and 3 hikes.
Life in Hong Kong last month; learning to finally go with the flow at work, making a friend, an unplanned island day trip and enjoying my solitude.
Recently, life in Hong Kong has been a lot of normal life. I got really sick, I got overwhelmed and I’m not always loving my job. But I also took a few ferries and a cable car, saw some giant buddhas and met a monk. So normal life with a lovely twist or two.

It’s been a year since I published my first blog post. Since then I have travelled through 3 countries in South America, made a quick trip to Greece, spent some time in Canada and moved to Hong Kong for a year. I have also looked back and reflected on my time in Kenya and doing to Camino de Santiago. To everyone who has subscribed to my little blog, thank you. I will continue to share my journey.
Today marks 25 days in Hong Kong and I guess I live here now. Life in Hong Kong has been a roller coaster but I am loving it. I’m here teaching at a learning...
My Camino will forever be one of my most cherished memories. These are some of the more beautiful moments from that long walk in Spain.
My Camino de Santiago – some days were filled with challenges and lessons and blisters. It is like life – good and bad, joyful and tough. These were some of my “bads”
