Isle of Skye – magical, gloomy & delightful
I had dreams about visiting the Isle of Skye for a long time. I only had a couple days there but I left with a full heart and a deep appreciation for gloomy hikes and fairy rings.
Stories from a bumbling, mid-life solo traveler
I had dreams about visiting the Isle of Skye for a long time. I only had a couple days there but I left with a full heart and a deep appreciation for gloomy hikes and fairy rings.
Camino de Santiago – remembering all the good. Overcoming the physical challenges, making new friends and enjoying the solitude, all of the beautiful countryside and old churches. The Camino de Santiago will always be a favorite travel memory and a journey that taught me more than I expected.
Visiting Nairobi, Kenya and a childhood friend. An unexpected stop in London, and then giraffes, hikes, the beautiful Lake Naivasha and monkeys stealing mangos.
Guatemala and Volcan de Acatenango – climbed my first volcano and learned some lessons along the way and had the most unbelievable night and saw the most beautiful sunrise.
