Moray, Pisac and ATVs – the joy is in the journey
Finding joy in the journey to Moray, trying new things, meeting new friends in Pisac and trying so many types of new food, when Parker came to visit me in Peru.
Stories from a bumbling, mid-life solo traveler
Finding joy in the journey to Moray, trying new things, meeting new friends in Pisac and trying so many types of new food, when Parker came to visit me in Peru.
A few days in the Sacred Valley, exploring with a local guide and taking time to really learn the history and meet local people. The ruins at Ollantaytambo and Moray are spectacular, and travelling by scooter was the most fun.
A day in Pisac and travelling like a local. The Pisac Archaeological Ruins are worth a visit – incredible energy and breath-taking views.
Guatemala and Volcan de Acatenango – climbed my first volcano and learned some lessons along the way and had the most unbelievable night and saw the most beautiful sunrise.
Cusco, Peru – Beginning 3 months of living in Cusco and loving it. Joyful moments from my first few days. Grateful for the small things.
Guatemala – solo travel, making new friends, living with local family, volunteering
I am travelling to South America for the very first time and I am scared and excited! I will be visiting Colombia and Bolivia but actually living in Peru for 3 months. This will be my first out of country experience as an nomad! South America, here I come!
Welcome to The Analog Nomad. If you are looking for expert travel advice or well-designed itineraries, this is definitely NOT the place for you. If you want real, sometimes sad, occasionally funny, sporadically wise stories of my "life as a nomad" while I try to figure out what the heck I am doing with my third act, then please grab a cup of coffee and keep reading. Welcome! Bienvenioda! Karibu!

Join the Analog Nomad list by dropping your email below. And yes, it is ironic that I am asking for your email as I am the Analog Nomad but even I rarely use snail mail anymore :) Also, I am not sure how or why but subscribing is important to optimize something or other, so please do! Many thanks!
